St. Francis Renewable Energy Center

The Saint Francis Renewable Energy Center provides information about alternative energy solutions (biomass, geothermal, hydro, solar, and of course, wind). We also lead businesses, schools, and communities in the development of cost-effective, environmentally sound energy alternatives.  Since our founding in 2005, the REC has educated more than 2,000 people, schools, municipalities, and businesses each year, and our wind analysis has led to more than $60+ million in proposed community wind investment in PA.  We provide wind education at town meetings, conferences, and classrooms, and will assist in developing township wind ordinances. We also offer wind project investment analysis and development consulting.
